Which M&A Brokers to avoid when selling your business

Did you know 80% of UK businesses don’t sell? I recently sat down with someone you may all well know as a slightly left field LinkedIn personality, but may not know successfully sold a previous business for double figure millions. It’s easy for me when I’m on the side of seeing through what other brokers tell their clients when going through the sales process, to see where people are mis-sold or led up the garden path. But as someone who is going through something equal parts exciting and nerve racking, it’s easy to have the wool pulled over your eyes or be slightly blindsided by what you’re promised. Usually, over promised. Mike Winnet and I talk through commonalities between cowboy brokers looking to make the most money, without perhaps the best interests of their client at heart, as well as Mike’s experience of sitting in the other chair.
